Biography
Rabbanit Etta Bendavid is the rebbetzin of Shivtei Yisrael, a large anglo synagogue in Raanana, Israel. She is a certified clinical chaplain with a private practice specializing in end-of-life, grief and spiritual support in all life transitions. Etta is also a Morah L’Halacha (Certified yoetzet halacha from Matan) and serves as a resource to the women in her community and teaches kallot. With MA degrees in Midrash/Theological Interpretation and Education, Etta teaches regularly for women in the community and at Matan. She is also a singer and leads tefilat nashim. Etta made aliyah in 2017 with her husband, Rabbi Eitan Bendavid, and they are blessed with four young children, BH.
