FAQs

Is it possible to attend only part of the program? 
Yes.  You will have the opportunity to select the workshops you would like to attend and register for each workshop individually.
How will I sign up for workshops? 
You will receive an email with a link to the schedule and short sign-up forms for each workshop.
How will I join each workshop?
You will receive a separate email from each workshop group with a link to the workshop Zoom meeting.
For whom is this program designed?
This summit is designed for experienced and emerging Orthodox women lay leaders who are innovative and collaborative, motivated to adapt community initiatives to address a new communal landscape, interested in networking with women in similar communal roles, and committed to the spiritual growth and well-being of their communities.
Is this summit open to non-profit professionals or only to lay leaders? 
Non-profit professionals who are involved in the community are welcome to join us.
Will the workshops be interactive? Will I be able to network with other like-minded women? 
Yes. Participants will be asked to participate with video on to create a sense of community. Presenters will use a combination of chat, live question/answer and breakout rooms to facilitate interaction.
Will there be an opportunity to continue the discussions or ask more questions? 
Yes.  After the summit, you will have an opportunity to join an OU Women's Initiative Leadership WhatsApp group. Additionally, the OU Women's Initiative provides multiple opportunities for lay leadership development and networking among Orthodox women leaders.
