Biography

Rabbi Mark Wildes received his semicha from RIETS, Yeshiva University.  Before becoming a Rabbi, he received a JD from the Cardozo School of Law and a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University. Rabbi Wildes founded Manhattan Jewish Experience (MJE), a highly successful Kiruv organization in New York City, over 20 years ago.  MJE’s talented staff of 15 professionals draw in over 20,000 attendees at its events each year to its three sites in Manhattan and is responsible for 377 marriages.   Rabbi Wildes is frequently featured in publications throughout the US and Israel.  He is the author of “Beyond the Instant, Jewish Wisdom for Lasting Happiness in a Fast-Paced, Social Media World” and “The 40 Day Challenge: Daily Insights Into the High Holidays.” He lives with his wife Jill and their children on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, where they maintain a warm and welcoming home for all.
