Mrs. Shulamit Hurwitz, MS, RD, CDN 
Shulamit Hurwitz is a passionate community leader. Her creativity, out of the box thinking and problem-solving skills have helped her create and innovate many activities including Mishloach Manot fundraisers. Shulamit is currently serving as the PTA co-president at Yeshiva Har Torah. Previously, Shulamit has served as Vice President and President of Young Israel of West Hempstead Sisterhood and was actively involved in many aspects of the programming at the Young Israel of Brookline.  Shulamit is a Registered Dietitian.  She received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Stern College for Women and a Masters in Clinical Nutrition from New York University, NY. 

Mrs. Rachel Dratch, Director, Educational Innovation, PRIZMAH

 Rachel Dratch is wholeheartedly invested in the Jewish world of education. Rachel has a master’s degree in Jewish education from Yeshiva University, NY, is a Mandel Jerusalem Fellow, participated in the Mandel Teacher Education Program, and has served as a scholar in residence in many communities. Rachel was a student teacher at Michlalah College in Jerusalem before continuing her passion for teaching as a Hebrew school teacher and student leader at Stern College for Women. Rachel has held the professional titles of Tanach and Prayer Teacher, Director of Professional Development, Teacher Mentor, Dean of Students, Vice Principal, Student Life Coordinator, Israel Guidance Advisor and other meaningful roles at many day schools including: The Frisch School, The Ramaz School, Maimonides School, Fuchs Mizrachi School, Berman Hebrew Academy and Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School. Rachel has also been director of SLED educational consulting and spends her summers at Camp Moshava IO running drama and special programming. Between her husband and herself, they are blessed with 12 children and 4 grandchildren.
