OU-JLIC West began the year by hosting two different events to welcome and integrate Jewish students who are transferring to UCLA.  For two sequential weeks, socially distanced Meet & Greets were hosted in the LA-Valley and the LA-City, to accommodate transfers from CSUN, Pierce and Valley Colleges as well as those coming from Santa Monica College.  At each event students had the opportunity to interact with peers and meet Rabbi Aryeh and Sharona Kaplan, the OU-JLIC Directors at UCLA.  Many of these students were already involved, and in love, with the vibrant OU-JLIC communities at Hillel818 and at SMC and eagerly anticipate integrating into the Jewish student community on their new campus.
