Thanks to a generous grant from The Marcus Foundation and powered by the Jewish Education Project, NCSY is uniquely positioned to nearly double the number of public school Jewish teens and substantially increase the number of Jewish day school teens experiencing trips to Israel in the upcoming Summer 2021 season. Running immersive summer programs for Jewish teens in Israel has been central to NCSY’s mission for over 40 years now. Every year, NCSY provides $1.5 million in scholarships and sends 1,500+ public school and Jewish day school students on NCSY Summer programs in Israel because it is one of the most meaningful and memorable experiences of a person’s life. Now, as a result of the Marcus Foundation grant, RootOne Vouchers will lower the cost of NCSY’s summer Israel experiences by $1,000 for Day School participants.
We are proud that NCSY is the largest among five youth-serving organizations nationally working closely with RootOne in this groundbreaking effort to send more teens to Israel. RootOne Vouchers are limited, so we encourage families whose children will be completing grades 9-12 in June 2021 to visit summer.ncsy.org and register today.
With tremendous gratitude toward the Marcus Foundation and The Jewish Education Project, we look forward to bringing thousands more teens to Israel in the coming years. This is our opportunity as parents, grandparents and community leaders, to strengthen teens’ Jewish identity and connection to Israel during their high school years. We hope you take full advantage of this rare program offer.
