724. Kashering Utensils on Yom Tov

98:27 On yom tov, we don’t kasher forbidden utensils by boiling or heating. (One may use fire to purge a spit that was used to roast unsalted meat that he now wishes to use on yom tov – Rema 509:5.) The laws of immersing utensils on yom tov are discussed above, in chapter 37.

The law of washing dishes on yom tov is the same as on Shabbos (discussed earlier, in 80:26). We are not permitted to wash dishes on the first day of yom tov for use on the second day.
