He spoke about his article\u00a0\u2014 and his new e-book describing his love affair with his wife, whom he met as a fourth grader in Yeshiva of Flatbush\u2014 with JewishJournal.com. In the interview, Avrech elaborates on why he doesn\u2019t believe violence in the movies leads to violence in real life, his position on gay marriage and his thoughts on Showtime\u2019s Homeland. (He calls the lead actor \u201cdopey.\u201d)<\/p>\n<p>When asked what Hollywood should focus on, Avrech answers:<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[My first choice] would be Hollywood admitting that the greatest danger to civilization itself right now is jihad and jihadists.
