There is no aimless wandering around, and no one\u2019s time is wasted.<\/p>\n<p>The Job Fairs are programs of the <a title=\"OU Job Board | Employment and Resum\u00e9 Opportunities\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ou.org\/jobs\/index\">OU Job Board | Employment and Resum\u00e9 Opportunities<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>So it was no surprise that the Job Fair held August 30 in Borough Park, Brooklyn, a neighborhood with a multiplicity of yeshivot and synagogues, resulted in a typically large attendance of 450, including both candidates and employers. Not surprisingly, because it happens at every OU Job Fair, at least four candidates were hired on the spot, with many others being called back for second interviews.<\/p>\n<p>Highlights include:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/ou-images\/content\/bpjf1.jpg\" alt=\"image\" width=\"279\" height=\"224\" border=\"0\" \/><br \/>\nHere is part of the large gathering of job candidates and employers at the Fair.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/ou-images\/content\/bpfj2.jpg\" alt=\"image\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" border=\"0\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/ou-images\/content\/bpjf3.jpg\" alt=\"image\" width=\"278\" height=\"224\" border=\"0\" \/><br \/>\nJewish organizations were represented\u2026.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/ou-images\/content\/bpjf4.jpg\" alt=\"image\" width=\"240\" height=\"224\" border=\"0\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/ou-images\/content\/bpjf_5.jpg\" alt=\"image\" width=\"300\" height=\"179\" border=\"0\" \/><br \/>\n\u2026and non-Jewish organizations, including the Aflac duck.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/ou-images\/content\/bpjf6.jpg\" alt=\"image\" width=\"181\" height=\"300\" border=\"0\" \/><br \/>\nThe local Maimonides Medical Center didn\u2019t have far to travel to recruit at the Fair.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/ou-images\/content\/bpjf7.jpg\" alt=\"image\" width=\"248\" height=\"224\" border=\"0\" \/><br \/>\nThe OU, represented by Orah Alon of Human Resources, was a potential employer.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/ou-images\/content\/bpjf8.jpg\" alt=\"image\" width=\"224\" height=\"288\" border=\"0\" \/><br \/>\nJob Board Director Michael Rosner (right) welcomes co-sponsor of the Fair, Assemblyman Dov Hikind (and grandchild).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/ou-images\/content\/bpjf9.jpg\" alt=\"image\" width=\"224\" height=\"300\" border=\"0\" \/><br \/>\nMr. Rosner is interviewed by Nicole Ryan of News 12, Brooklyn.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Orthodox Union Job Fairs, which have been held both in the United States and Israel, are uniformly successful, because employers have jobs to offer, and the candidates who register have had their resumes screened to make certain that they qualify for positions that are being offered.
