With temples full of many gods but empty of one<\/p>\n
Unified purpose and peace;<\/p>\n

He would administer both in the religious and<\/p>\n
Societal sense, a minister of a foreign people<\/p>\n
And of foreign affairs \u2013 people foreign to the<\/p>\n
Mission, affairs foreign to the soul: he would<\/p>\n
Worship the pen instead of the Writer, pray<\/p>\n
To the building instead of its Builder, bow<\/p>\n
To the heavens instead of to the heavenly<\/p>\n
Creator \u2013 he would serve the art and not<\/p>\n
The Artist, the chisel and not the Craftsman<\/p>\n

The father-in-law of Moshe

Heard everything that G-d

Did to Moshe and Israel<\/i><\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
And he changed; he converted in the classic<\/p>\n
Sense of the word: converted all his previous<\/p>\n
Knowledge of things mundane to knowledge of<\/p>\n
Things Divine, converted his belief in things<\/p>\n
Multiple and fragmented to belief in the One<\/p>\n
And Only, who creates all things multiple and<\/p>\n
Fragmented\u2026but only so that we can bridge and<\/p>\n
Unify them \u2013 heaven and earth so that we can make<\/p>\n
Them hug one another, body and soul so that we<\/p>\n
Can make them dance together, mind and heart so<\/p>\n
That we can have them merge as one, you and me<\/p>\n
So that we can complete each other \u2013 man and G-d:<\/p>\n
So that we can be and illuminate and make Him proud<\/p>\n

Even the splitting of the sea could only merge the<\/p>\n
Dry land and the wet sea, the worlds revealed and<\/p>\n
The worlds hidden\u2026<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
It takes a minister of an idol culture and an idle heart,<\/p>\n
A leader of things faux to become a follower of things<\/p>\n
Friendly for the real bridge to suspend and draw-<\/p>\n
Out the creases, draw-in the sweetness and<\/p>\n
Draw-on the beauty<\/p>\n

You shall be to Me

A kingdom of ministers
\n<\/i><\/p>\n
And a holy nation<\/i><\/p>\n

And this, only this \u2013 the transformation of a man, a minister<\/p>\n
Of a foreign service to a minister of the Divine service; only<\/p>\n
This transcendence \u2013 and therefore unification \u2013 of body and<\/p>\n
Soul is worthy and can inspire the ultimate transcendence and<\/p>\n
Unification: the marriage of heaven and earth at Mount Sinai \u2013<\/p>\n

Now no longer ministers of foreign affairs;<\/p>\n
But prime ministers, administrators, leaders<\/p>\n
