Sometimes it takes<\/p>\n
The end of the book,<\/p>\n
The end of the journey<\/p>\n
To know that we are truly<\/p>\n
Alive!<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
But we are always alive<\/p>\n
Even when it doesn\u2019t feel<\/p>\n
Like it, even when we don\u2019t<\/p>\n
Want to feel like it, we are alive<\/p>\n
Because we come from and always<\/p>\n
Are connected to the true and pure<\/p>\n
Source of all Life\u2026<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
But it is at these moments of truth<\/p>\n
That we realize we are alive;<\/p>\n
And when we realize that we are alive<\/p>\n
We see that all moments are moments of truth\u2026<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Yaakov lived in
\n<\/i><\/p>\n
The land of Egypt<\/i><\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Yaakov, Israel, lived before<\/p>\n
Then as well; but sometimes<\/p>\n
It takes an Egypt to really high-<\/p>\n
Light life; sometimes it takes<\/p>\n
The hardest squeeze to produce<\/p>\n
The purest oil; sometimes it takes<\/p>\n
The rope of bondage itself to<\/p>\n
Climb over the walls of exile.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
We never revel in the pains of<\/p>\n
Life merely in the rewards they<\/p>\n
Produce; we cannot understand<\/p>\n
The suffering but we can use it<\/p>\n
To make ourselves grow and rid<\/p>\n
The universe forever of all hurt \u2013<\/p>\n
We can use the tears we\u2019ve known<\/p>\n
To dry all sad eyes and wet cheeks forever\u2026<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
It is now at the end,<\/p>\n
At the end of the book of beginnings,<\/p>\n
When we first realize what life is all about<\/p>\n
And that we are alive; it\u2019s right before the illness<\/p>\n
That the cure is realized and revealed, right before<\/p>\n
The exile of Egypt that we realize we are alive and<\/p>\n
No constraint can ever hold us back from our redemption<\/p>\n
Our Torah, our Promised Land \u2013<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n

It is the journey of the torah<\/p>\n
And the journey of our lives:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
From the beginning of creation,<\/p>\n
In the beginning G-d created
\n<\/i><\/p>\n
The heavens and the earths<\/i><\/p>\n
Through the establishment of<\/p>\n
A universe and a people ready<\/p>\n
To bridge the gap that is heaven<\/p>\n
And earth, unite the fragments of<\/p>\n
Time and space and finally come<\/p>\n
To a realization that we are life and<\/p>\n
When we do then even death will not<\/p>\n
Get in the way of our mission and life<\/p>\n
G-d will surely remember you then you
\n<\/i><\/p>\n
Must bring my bones up out of here<\/i><\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Life: the certainty and knowledge<\/p>\n
That our bones as well as our essence,<\/p>\n
Our bodies along with our souls,<\/p>\n
Will rise upward from Egypt to the<\/p>\n
Land that is both promised and fulfilled<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Be strong! Be strong! And may we be strengthened!<\/p>\n
