The clowns in its seven-ring circus<\/p>\n
Don\u2019t ride uni- bi- or even tricycles \u2013<\/p>\n
They ride sept-cycles.<\/p>\n

But cycles of seven can get very cyclopedic:<\/p>\n
Long, boring, technical, and extremely exhaustive<\/p>\n
(Not to mention about as attractive and agreeable as a seven-year itch.)<\/p>\n

Monotonous seven-day weeks:<\/p>\n
Six days we work; and on the seventh day we rest.<\/p>\n
Week after week after week<\/p>\n
(Until even the strong get week).<\/p>\n

Redundant, redundant, redundant<\/p>\n
Playing of the same seven tone-deaf notes:<\/p>\n

(Oh, and a redundant \u201cdo\u201d to come full scale)<\/p>\n

Se7en \u2013 how insipid:<\/p>\n
Even its vowels are symmetrical!<\/p>\n

But then the big, weathered grandfather clock<\/p>\n
Strikes eight and everything changes. Time stands<\/p>\n
Still and seven truly meets earth.<\/p>\n
