Porcelain floor; or perhaps one of<\/p>\n
Those ten-thousand-morsel puzzles<\/p>\n
At the mercy of a kindergarten filled<\/p>\n
With mischievous grins.<\/p>\n

It is the morning after and<\/p>\n
It is time to begin<\/p>\n
Perfecting a world<\/p>\n
Building a home for G-d<\/p>\n
A sanctuary of truth and peace<\/p>\n
A dwelling for unity and eternity \u2013<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
But how can we when we aren\u2019t?<\/p>\n
We are fragments. I don\u2019t know you<\/p>\n
You don\u2019t know me. How can I come<\/p>\n
With my brass and mold it with your<\/p>\n
Silver? How can you twine your blue<\/p>\n
Around my scarlet?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
We are made of different materials,<\/p>\n
Different hopes and dreams, different<\/p>\n
Minds and hearts, different bodies and faces.<\/p>\n
How can even the most talented architect<\/p>\n
Engineer such a miracle?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Have you tried building a temple when<\/p>\n
You are broken?<\/p>\n
It is impossible to complete anything<\/p>\n
When we are incomplete. One cannot<\/p>\n
Build a sanctuary when one is not sanctified.<\/p>\n
It takes unity to build, not only a unified structure,<\/p>\n
But a structure of unity \u2013<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
But your congregation is different than mine,<\/p>\n
Your crowd is different than mine, even<\/p>\n
Your prayer book is different than mine.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
When we look up we may see the same heaven<\/p>\n
But when we look down we see different shoes.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
To assemble a home for unity you have to be one.<\/p>\n
To assemble a temple you must assemble a people.<\/p>\n
To assemble the body you need to assemble the soul.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
And Moses assembled the entire\u2026<\/i><\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Moses didn\u2019t gather; he assembled:<\/p>\n
One gathers fragments; one assembles a whole.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
At times (it\u2019s called Exile) it may seem like it, but<\/p>\n
We are never truly fragmented; we are just parts of<\/p>\n
One whole waiting to be assembled.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
A residence for the Divine:<\/p>\n
G-d resides wherever you let Him in.<\/p>\n
Sometimes, one has to stop being in order to become.<\/p>\n
Self only allows for self; and the Ego Hotel has no vacancies.<\/p>\n
But if we allow ourselves to become humbled, to acknowledge<\/p>\n
That we are part of something great, holy, divine \u2013<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Than all that\u2019s really required is some assembly.<\/p>\n
