{"id":10596,"date":"2007-03-05T09:53:00","date_gmt":"2007-03-05T09:53:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/production.ou.org\/life\/other\/pesachdik_pizza_dough\/"},"modified":"2017-04-12T03:00:02","modified_gmt":"2017-04-12T08:00:02","slug":"pesachdik_pizza_dough","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ou.org\/life\/food\/recipes\/pesachdik_pizza_dough\/","title":{"rendered":"Passover Pizza Dough"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ingredients<\/span>:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><em>1 cup water<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>4 oz.\u00a0margarine (100 g or \u00bd a cup)<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>1 pinch salt<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>1\u00bd cups fine matzah meal<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>5 large eggs<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Directions<\/span>:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F<\/li>\n<li>Heat the water, margarine and salt in a pot until the margarine is melted<\/li>\n<li>Bring this mixture to a boil, remove from the flame and add all the matzoh meal into the pot at once, stirring very quickly..<\/li>\n<li>Return to low heat and cook for 1 minute.<\/li>\n<li>Keep stirring.\u00a0The dough should come away from the sides of the pot and form a rough ball.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from the heat and let cool for about 5 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Beat in 1 egg.<\/li>\n<li>When the dough is smooth and the egg has been fully incorporated into it, beat in another.<\/li>\n<li>Keep doing this until all 5 eggs have been added and the mixture is completely smooth. (You will get your daily exercise if you do this by hand with a wooden spoon)<\/li>\n<li>Spread the dough thinly on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper in the form of a pizza pie.
