There may have been less bureaucratic offices to deal with back then, but the challenge was still great. Without flinching, Avraham rose to that challenge in a manner that still inspires every Jewish soul today. Today there are more and more &#8220;modern-day Avraham Avinus&#8221; who are returning to Eretz Yisrael, on their own or with their family, and successfully building their lives and future.<\/p>\n<p>As you sit in shul this Shabbat, and hear the words read from the Torah &#8220;Lech lecha&#8230;&#8221;, take these words into your heart. Hashem was speaking not only to Avraham. Hashem is speaking to you today as well.<\/p>\n<p>This past Summer, Nefesh B&#8217;Nefesh presented you with photographic highlights from the seven flights that delivered over 2300 Olim from North America and the UK.
