Why do we begin the Haggadah by expounding a pasuk that seems to minimize the importance of the Seder night by saying that we have to remember Yetziat Mitzrayim every day! The 3 differences between \u05e1\u05d9\u05e4\u05d5\u05e8 and \u05d6\u05db\u05d9\u05e8\u05d4.<\/p>\n

What is the etymology of the word Haggadah?<\/p>\n

Why was it essential that the first three makkot be ones which Moshe couldn’t execute because of Hakarat HaTov? Why do we specifically use the declaration of gratitude made by the farmer when he brings bikkurim?<\/p>\n

When a farmer brings his bikkurim, he declares “\u05d4\u05d2\u05d3\u05ea\u05d9<\/strong> \u05d4\u05d9\u05d5\u05dd \u05dc\u05d4’ \u05d0\u05dc\u05d5\u05e7\u05d9\u05da”. The Gemara says that Matzah is called \u05dc\u05d7\u05dd \u05e2\u05d5\u05e0\u05d9 because we say many words over\/about it (\u05e9\u05e2\u05d5\u05e0\u05d9\u05df \u05e2\u05dc\u05d9\u05d5 \u05d3\u05d1\u05e8\u05d9\u05dd \u05d4\u05e8\u05d1\u05d4). This definition of \u05e2\u05e0\u05d9\u05d9\u05d4 is used by the Torah in describing the declaration made when bringing bikkurim: \u05d5\u05e2\u05e0\u05d9\u05ea<\/strong> \u05d5\u05d0\u05de\u05e8\u05ea…\u05d0\u05e8\u05de\u05d9 \u05d0\u05d5\u05d1\u05d3 \u05d0\u05d1\u05d9 – the very passage that is the central part of the \u05d4\u05d2\u05d3\u05d4!
