The Bat Ayin (the Avritcher Rebbe) writes that the purpose of Chanukah is to fix the \u05ea\u05d5\u05d4\u05d5 (the nothingness before creation) with light, similar to the \u05d0\u05d5\u05e8 of the first day of creation that countered the \u05ea\u05d5\u05d4\u05d5 (the light that is hidden for tzaddikim for \u05e2\u05d5\u05dc\u05dd \u05d4\u05d1\u05d0).<\/p>\n

In the Torah, Avraham represents the idea of Chanukah.<\/p>\n
