The OU Department of Synagogue Services created this video as part of a compendium of the laws of Mechirat Chametz. The video includes two parts. The first part is a formal shiur given by Harav Mordechai Willig Shlit”a, a Rosh Yeshiva at Yeshivat Rabbeinu Yitzchak Elchonon of Yeshiva University, Sgan Av Beth Din of the Beth Din of America and the Morah D’asra of the Young Israel of Riverdale. In the Shiur Rav Willig discusses many of the unique intricacies of this noteworthy transaction. The second part of the tape depicts Rabbi Willig walking the viewer through the actual process of a Mechirat Chametz.
