Rabbi Weinreb regrets an error he made in the Tisha B’Av 2011 presentation. He spoke of Eyal Noked, z”l, who died of a tragic illness, but was not the victim of terrorism. The victim of whom Rabbi Weinreb spoke should correctly be identified as Ben-Yosef Livnat, who was murdered while visiting Kever Yosef, Hy”d.
There’s a connection between all the tragedies that occurred during our 1900-year exile. On Tisha B’Av we don’t only mourning the destruction of the temple.
