Community Parlor Meeting

  • Communities will have the opportunities to send representatives to give a 10-minute discussion on their community for groups of relocators in various Metro-NY areas that are known to be very transient (Teaneck, Washington Heights, Queens, Brooklyn, etc.).
  • Parlor meetings will be scheduled every few weeks with 5-6 communities presenting each time.  There is no charge to participate (this is only available to communities that participated in the 2019 Fair.)
  • Communities will be responsible to pay for  transportation of their representative(s) and any materials they want to bring.
  • Each community will have a timed limit in which to present  — Several individuals may present as long as the presentation is within the time limit.
  • Following the formal presentation of all communities, community reps will be able to interact with the guests.
  • Each community will be allowed to present at only one parlor meeting.
