DESCRIPTION:   \nKashruth When I Was A Kid — Records\, Remembrances\, and Nostalgia \nThis talk springs from handwritten minutes of meetings of the Machzikei Hakashruth of Eastern Parkway and Crown Heights.  The minutes were recorded by the speaker’s father\, Louis Tuchman\, Z”L.  They cover the time between September 1951 and May 1960.  The speaker and his brother\, Kalman\, recently donated the records to the National Library of Israel. \nPresented by Isaac (Yitzchak) N. Tuchman.  Isaac (Yitzchak) Tuchman is a musmach of RIETS\, Yitz also holds an MA in American Jewish History from Bernard Revel Graduate School. John Schoppmann is a 20-year veteran of the NYPD with prior experience in fire service\, emergency medical services\, and mental health/ peer support. He has been a supervisor since 2007 and assigned to the NYPD Counterterrorism Division since 2010. His first decade in the Division was within the training section\, supervising and presenting a myriad of terrorism-related topics.
