SUMMARY:Creating a Caring Community: Supporting a Loved One Facing Illness
DESCRIPTION:Creating a Caring Community: Supporting a Loved One Facing Illness \n\n1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer. We all know someone who has faced cancer. For someone facing illness\, support from friends and family is critically important.\nWe often assumed that supporting someone in need is instinctive\, and that we know the best way to help. That is not always the case. Together we’ll explore the best ways to support a friend or loved one facing serious illness\, both as individuals and as a community as a whole.\nAlso included in the discussion will be caregiver support. To best support someone with cancer\, you have to have some support yourself. Cancer is a difficult diagnosis that evokes difficult emotions in everyone. Don’t let that get in the way of offering support.\n\nPresented by Eve Reingold Kleinerman\, JD who is Illinois Regional Director for Sharsheret\, is a graduate of Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Eve oversees Sharsheret’s office in the Greater Chicago area\, and all local programmatic efforts including outreach\, education\, partnership development and fundraising. \nCLICK HERE to register for the Zoom Link to view the program live and/or receive the recording following the program. \nSharsheret | The Jewish Breast & Ovarian Cancer Community\nwww.sharsheret.org \n____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ \nSPIRIT CORPORATE SPONSORS: \nMEMORY MATTERS — https://renayudkowsky.com/signature-course/ \nCAPITIL REAL ESTATE — https://capitil.com/ \nMEDICARE INSURANCE SPECIALIST — https://www.65andready.com/ \nFORSPANKLEAR\, LLP — https://www.forspanklear.com/ \nWINSTON WEALTH ADVISORS — https://www.winstonwealthadvisors.com/ou-spirit \nSCHWARTZ BROTHERS JEFFER/SINAI CHAPEL/PARKSIDE MEMORIAL CHAPELS — https://www.dignitymemorial.com/funeral-homes/forest-hills-ny/schwartz-brothers-jeffer-memorial-chapels/4131 \n___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ \nWe have created a new SPIRIT website with archives and upcoming programs! He is also dedicated to his community in South Bend\, Indiana\, where he serves as the spiritual leader for the Midwest Torah Center and has experience in education on every level. It was only when he realized that his solution lay within\, that he embarked on the next 15 years of researching sleep\, psychology\, and the power of the human mind. He cured his own insomnia and now helps people around the world do the same. Doron also gives talks around the country and is interviewed on magazines and podcasts many times throughout the year. \nClick Here to Register. \n____________________________________________________________ \nWe have created a new SPIRIT website with archives and upcoming programs!
