We all know someone who has faced cancer. For someone facing illness\, support from friends and family is critically important.\nWe often assumed that supporting someone in need is instinctive\, and that we know the best way to help. That is not always the case. Together we’ll explore the best ways to support a friend or loved one facing serious illness\, both as individuals and as a community as a whole.\nAlso included in the discussion will be caregiver support. To best support someone with cancer\, you have to have some support yourself. Cancer is a difficult diagnosis that evokes difficult emotions in everyone.
