DESCRIPTION:Common Age-Related Eye Disorders – Eyes are the most important organ of human perception\, and 80% of knowledge and memory in the brain are acquired through eyes. As we get older\, our risk of certain eye conditions increases. Come learn about the definition\, diagnosis\, symptoms\, and treatment for age-related macular degeneration\, cataracts\, and glaucoma from Dr. Siri Shetty\, Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medical College practicing in NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Eye Center in Fresh Meadows . This program is in partnership with the NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Community Health Initiatives (CHI). All are welcome! \nPresented by: Sirikishan Shetty\, MD\, Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology\, Weill Cornell Medical College\, New York Presbyterian Queens Eye Center \nDr. Sirikishan Shetty is a board certified ophthalmologist practicing at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Eye Center located in Fresh Meadows\, NY. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia Augusta University and completed his residency in ophthalmology at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital.
