What is the difference between dementia and Alzhimer’s?\nCommon warning signs\nTips for caregivers\nTaking care of yourself while caring for someone with dementia\n\nPresented by:  Adina Segal\, LCSW\, Jewish Community Outreach Social Worker\, CaringKind\,  is a Senior Navigator and Community Builder at CaringKind\, where she provides emotional support to individuals and families affected by dementia\, with a particular focus on bringing services and awareness to the Jewish community. Adina is passionate about working with individuals and families impacted by issues related to illness and aging and has been working with this population for the past seventeen  years in different capacities. Previously she was the Caregiver Program Director at Heights and Hills and has held positions at the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services and Ohel Children’s Home and Family Services. Adina holds a B.A. in Psychology from CUNY Queens College and an MSW from NYU School of Social Work. \nAbout CaringKind:  CaringKind is a leading expert on Alzheimer’s and dementia caregiving.
