DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, March 11\, 2025\, 12 noon EST \n“On My Own…But Not Alone”\nAhava Ehrenpreis\, nee Sperka\, a Detroit native who now calls New York home\, was married to world-renowned mathematician\, Dr. Leon Ehrenpreis z”l\, and is a mother and grandmother. She taught English and Judaic studies at the college level for many years but now is a full-time freelance writer. She has gained an active following for her many first-person essays and articles that appear regularly in various Jewish publications\, indeed\, the responses to her articles on facing life’s challenges prompted her to write this book. As a parent of a child with special needs and actively writing on that topic for many venues\, she wrote “More Than Special\, Perspectives from the World of Special Needs\, (Artscroll/Shaar Press)\, 2020.
