A xylophone is also a good idea. \nPresented by: Miriam Hendeles\, M.A.\, MT-BC \nMiriam Hendeles is a board-certified music therapist who currently works with hospice patients and since 1995 has worked with various populations using music to achieve client goals. She earned her B.S. in computer science from Brooklyn College and her B.A. in Music and M.A. in Special Education from CSU Northridge. She is the author of “Mazel Tov! It’s a Bubby!” (The Joys and Oys of Being a Mother\, Mother-in-law\, and Grandmother) (2012); and “Best Foot Forward” (How a Broken Bone Changed My Life Forever) (2021). Miriam has been involved in the launching of the online community JWOW! for Jewish midlife women ages 50 and above. She writes personal essays on midlife and grandmother-hood\, that have been published in Binah Magazine\, Los Angeles Jewish Home\, Yated newspaper\, and elsewhere in print and online.
