DESCRIPTION:Revealing Jewish American Heroes: From the Revolutionary War to Today \nIn response to the misconception that “American Jews don’t serve their country\,” join us for a talk and walk through our history following Jewish American heroes (over time). \nIntroduction by Josef Flaschner\, a US army veteran\, -He served from  1976-79 and was stationed in Frankfurt West Germany in the 3rd armor division as a trained Army photographer. \nPresented by Jay Goldberg \nJay Goldberg is a retired NYC educator. He earned a B.A. in history and an M.A. in social studies education from Queens College and a P.D. in school administration and supervision from St. John’s University. Jay has always had an avid interest in American history and enjoys visiting historical sites throughout the U.S..
