A registered nurse with more than 30 years of experience in oncology, health promotion, and patient education, she is also the founder of Wellness Motivations and a founding board member of The Bayit Association, which supports housing for adults with developmental disabilities. A frequent public speaker and writer, Bassie has presented educational programs throughout the country and regularly writes on health, aging, and the intersection of medicine and Jewish life.
