Boynton Beach, FL United States – OU Communities

About this community

Anshei Chesed is a full-service synagogue that caters to people of all stages of life. Our extensive education program, visiting scholar programs, and social and entertainment programs continue throughout the year.

There is a community eruv and mikvah, housing that is significantly more affordable than other similarly-sized neighborhoods in the region, a JCC, a kosher market 7 minutes away, and all the amenities of Boca Raton within a 20-minute drive.

Educational options include the nationally-acclaimed Katz Hillel Day School of Boca Raton, Katz Yeshiva High School, Torah Academy and more. We are a 5-minute drive from the Ben Gamla Charter School.

We have wonderful Shabbat youth programming including a supervised playroom (ages 0-4), Shabbat Groups (ages 4-10) and a teen minyan with a fantastic Kiddush (ages 11+) as well as   for Shabbat afternoon programming and Seudah Shlishit.

Like many Florida communities, the majority of our congregation consists of retirees from the Northeastern and Midwestern United States – which is the strength of our smaller but fully engaged community. Daily minyan, Daf Yomi, a very active sisterhood, very well attended programming – this is Anshei Chesed.

Florida has no state taxes; Boynton Beach has surprisingly low property taxes, and an outdoor-centered lifestyle, plus a unique infrastructure that is conducive to multiple generations of the same family living within one community. Come see how our community may be the answer you’ve been looking for to the question of where to raise your family or where to enjoy your semi-retirement, retirement or golden years.
