Dallas, TX United States – OU Communities

About this community

The Dallas economy is stable and growing with major corporate headquarters like State Farm and Toyota, JC Penny, Dr. Pepper and AT&T. We’re also home to leading institutions, including UT Southwestern Medical Center, The University of Texas at Dallas and Children’s Medical Center of Dallas.

We are an inclusive community that offers an OU-affiliated synagogue, Congregation Shaare Tefilla. The congregation is a welcoming Modern Orthodox synagogue with more than 175 families committed to engaging in the modern world through the prism of Torah and tradition. With many young families and educational and social programming for adults and kids, Shaare Tefilla is the hub of Modern Orthodox life in Dallas and is truly the place to be!

Dallas is also home to several Orthodox schools: Mesorah High School for Girls, Torah Day School of Dallas, Akiba Academy of Dallas and Yavneh Academy of Dallas. Akiba is a Modern Orthodox, coed school for infants through 8

grade with a well-balanced academic program of general studies and Jewish scholarship.

Affordable homes, apartments, or condos are available and property taxes are a fraction of the price compared to the New York area. You will be pleasantly surprised at how much more you get for your money in Texas!

Getting to and from Dallas has never been easier. Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport is one of the biggest and busiest airports in the world with a hub for American Airlines.

Come and see for yourself all we have to offer!
