Congregation Brothers of Israel, is a dynamic, warm, friendly Modern Orthodox Ashkenazic synagogue with programming and services for all ages. Its day school, Yeshiva at the Jersey Shore, attracts young families seeking superior academic and religious education for their children. Our member families develop very close relationships with other member families; shul friends become extended family and create very special bonds. Retirees are attracted to Long Branch’s carefree beachfront condo and apartment living and to Brothers of Israel’s satellite Ocean Avenue Minyan. The surrounding area is home to a diverse religious Jewish population that includes “Yeshivish”, Modern Orthodox, Syrian-Sephardic, and Chabad.
We boast great amenities including affordable housing in tree-lined neighborhoods, a wide variety of kosher markets, great selection of kosher restaurants, eruv, mikvaot and choice of Jewish Day Schools/Yeshivot.
