Rabbi Shaul Robinson was born in Glasgow, Scotland. He studied at Yeshivat HaMivtar in Efrat, Israel, and holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Strathclyde and an MBA in Not for Profit Management from the University of Nottingham. Rabbi Robinson was the first full time student chaplain at the University of Cambridge, subsequently served as the Rabbi of the Barnet Synagogue in North London until 2005, and has been the Senior Rabbi at Lincoln Square Synagogue since then. In that time, he has overseen the move of the synagogue to its new building and the rapid growth and revitalization of the community. He is married to Sarah Hass Robinson and has six children and one grandchild.
