Rabbi Moshe Hauer is incoming executive vice president of the Orthodox Union.
Rabbi Moshe Hauer is the Rav of Congregation Bnai Jacob Shaarei Zion in Baltimore, Maryland. He has worked there for 25 years, in addition to being active in local communal leadership, education, programs for at-risk children, and social service organizations. Rabbi Hauer serves as a trustee of The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore and is a member of the national council of AIPAC. He is a member of the Rabbinical Council-Vaad HaRabbonim of Baltimore and the Rabbinical Council of America. Rabbi Hauer is a founding Editor of the online journal “Klal Perspectives” and leads a leadership training program for rabbis and communal leaders. He lectures on a wide variety of topics in Jewish law, Jewish thought, and historical and contemporary issues.
