The US Embassy will officially relocate to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv in May, timed to coincide with Israel’s 70th anniversary according to a State Department spokesman. An exact date for the move was not specified. According to the spokesman, the embassy is to be located in a southern Jerusalem neighborhood, on the side that Israel held before 1967.
