Update: Bombs Stop Falling in Israel in Response to Cease-Fire

Approximately 200 rockets and mortar shells were fired from Gaza into southern Israel by Hamas and Islamic Jihad. No one was injured, though a private home in Netivot was struck and damaged.

Hamas announced that a cease-fire agreement had been reached, reportedly brokered by Egypt. No projectiles have been fired since then. Israel has said that it will refrain from attacking Gaza so long the situation remains calm.
