The Harry H. Beren ASK OU Outreach program will be hosting two community kashrus events at Congregation Shaaray Tefila in Lawrence, NY. On Monday, Dec. 26, OU Rabbinic Coordinator and bird expert Rabbi Chaim Loike will present “The Mesorah of Kosher Birds.” On Monday, Jan 2, OU Rabbinic Coordinator and fish expert Rabbi Chaim Goldberg will offer an exciting live presentation on fish. The OU Israel Center presents the L’ayla Women’s Israel Mission, coming up in February, 2012. This trip will provide excellent touring in the north, the Judean desert, and around the Yerushalayim area. Canada NCSY will be having their first-ever trip to Los Angeles and Las Vegas this February. Participants will spend Shabbos in Beverly Hills, see the Vegas strip, and go to Universal Studios in Hollywood. We look forward to hearing more about this exciting program.
