The OU’s Nach Yomi – a chapter of Neviim (Prophets) and Kesuvim (Writings) a day for two years – begins again TODAY (December 17)! The OU just completed its fourth Nach Yomi cycle and, over the past eight years, thousands have learned the Jewish Bible in entirety, including such Books as Isaiah, Ezekiel, Iyov (Job), Divrei HaYamim (Chronicles) and Ezra – integral works than many might never think to study without the impetus of Nach Yomi!
Start your journey towards completing Nach RIGHT NOW with Joshua chapter 1. Each day features an audio shiur, the text in Hebrew and English, and a synopsis of the day’s chapter in the vernacular. Shiurim are delivered by a number of popular speakers, including Rabbi Dr. Tzvi Hersh Weinreb, Rabbi Menachem Leibtag, Rabbi Yitzchak Etshalom, and many others.
Resources to help with your study of Nach include:
The 2015-2017 Nach Yomi calendar;
An informative brochure about Tanach;
An all-new timeline of the period of Nach;
Rabbi Weinreb’s Nach siyum shiur in memory of Ezra Schwartz HY”D, Completing Nach: The Story and the Vision.
There are also lots of ways to get your daily dose of Nach! Aside from the OU Torah web site, Nach Yomi is available through a daily email, a podcast, and the new OU Torah app for iOS!
The time for excuses is over! The time for Nach is NOW!
