My favorite part of Directing OU Alumni is the chance to dream of great programs and then make them happen. This week, along with International NCSY Director Rabbi Steven Burg, Rabbi Avi Berman Director General of OU Israel and several others we will be meeting with the decision makers in the Government, Jewish Agency and the Israeli Universities to take Birthright and Masa beyond ten days and 6 months. We represent the largest youth group worldwide and bring more Jews to Israel each year then the other movements combined so we are going to try and create a push from Israel for Jewish students to spend four years in University in Israel instead of the US. It has tremendous potential if we can succesfully make it a priority!
Wish us luck and I'll keep y'all updated.
Have an Awesome Shabbos,
