Jeff Leb, New York director of OU Advocacy, testified before the New York State Legislature Joint Committee on the Executive Budget. He reiterated the OU’s position that all New York school children should be entitled to the same essential services to further their educational growth and ensure their safety, regardless of the type of school they attend.
In a related story, at a reception in the Governor’s Mansion following the State of the State address, Leb spoke with Governor Cuomo about his zero-tolerance stance on anti-Semitism and discrimination in schools and thanked the Governor for his continued support of the non-public school community.
