Sotheby’s has sold a hand-crocheted yarmulke that once belonged to Frank Sinatra for more than $9,000, far exceeding the original estimate of $200-$400. The black kippah featured musical notes and the name “Frank.”
The auction catalog did not indicate who made the yarmulke or gave it to Sinatra.
