First-Ever Programming in Yiddish

OU Torah will offer its first-ever programming in Yiddish. Daf HaShavua, by Rav Pinchas Mordechai Teitz ztz”l, begins this Friday, December 30. (This corresponds to 4 Teves, the 15th yahrtzeit of Rabbi Teitz.) This popular program ran Saturday nights on WEVD radio for 36 years, from 1953 until 1988. It was also heard worldwide via shortwave radio and what may have been the world’s first Torah tapes.
