OU Kosher has announced the winners of the 2012 OU Kosher Essay Contest for grades 7-12. They are Michelle Natanova (Queens, NY), Zev Kraut (Pittsburgh, PA), Shmuel Michaels (Greenwood Village, CO) and Hannah Kark (Denver, CO). Many more essays of quality were submitted from California, Connecticut, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio and Washington state.
All winners will receive $50 gift certificates from Eichlers.com, a leading Judaica website. The winning essays will be posted on www.oukosher.org. Find out more here.
