OU Impact Accelerator Application

It was amazing to be able learn from many educated and experienced mentors. The collaboration between the organizations was so helpful. In a relatively short time we have become a well working cohort. It is humbling to know that we have so much to learn on our journey and grateful to the accelerator program for providing these resources. I am still pinching myself that we are part of this first cohort. Meeting other organizations that understand and have the same needs and thirst for knowledge and for the business aspect of nonprofits has been a highlight.

We have been working full steam ahead building the machinery behind the scenes that will power our organization thus enabling us to fulfill our mission of empowering struggling youth. This has been an amazing program and we are exceedingly grateful to the OU and to Jenna for enabling us to be part of it! THANK YOU.

Mazal tov OU IA! In the past year GrowTorah has more than doubled the amount of schools we teach at as well as expanded our programming. In addition to teaching in the gardens, we have begun hosting family programing and bringing eco initiatives to our schools.

I was very skeptical about the program. This meeting was a game-changer for me. I have no words to express my hakarat hatov. You don’t understand the impact this will have.

Imadi has been created and established since we’ve applied to the OU Accelerator program. We are currently servicing our community and assisting families. It’s been so beneficial for us to be setting ourselves up as we move forward with the program, as we are able to create an organization with the strongest structure through our wonderful experience.

The mentors, the staff, the camaraderie with the other cohort members. I am so grateful. Thank you for all the help, guidance, and support.

One of our early successes was being chosen by the OU Impact Accelerator. The recognition and support we are receiving from the OU is indescribable and very much appreciated. It is beyond all of my expectations in every area. It’s been informative, it’s been a great network, it’s been support, and some humor too. We have a good time. From support, to knowledge, to interns being available to help, the OU is there for Ani Tefillah.

The Impact Accelerator experience has been really educational and eye opening. Getting word that we were selected was one of the most impactful moments in the lifetime of our venture. We think it will help propel us forward in a way that we would not have been able to do without the OU’s assistance. The seminars and sessions that the OU provides with people who are truly experts and luminaries in their fields are incredibly informative.

Besides the useful, educational courses offered by the Accelerator, the staff at the Accelerator has been a pleasure to work with. Their sole focus is to help the cohort members grow and impact the Jewish people in the most meaningful way possible.

The OU Impact Accelerator has had a diverse group of tremendous mentors who have given us really good advice. I feel like every call I’ve had with them I’ve gotten at least one great nugget of information that will help us.
