In a consolidated effort to help financially-challenged families in the Baltimore community afford the cost of day school, Bais Yaakov of Baltimore has launched a lucrative direct sales campaign. The project includes active participation from the school staff, parents, supporters, friends of the school, and hundreds of alumnae. (Achieving a yearly gift from as few as 20% of their alumnae will have a significant impact on the school’s ability to manage the issue of affordability.)
The school is happy to report that the data submitted shows that revenue from the new initiative outperformed past fundraising programs (including a yearly banquet). They are confident that the school can attain even higher levels of success if they expand the initiative with a comprehensive outbound telemarketing effort. As the school continues to develop this direct sales approach it will utilize greater distribution of direct mail and email to reach more and more interested donors.
