R' Sharoni in Ein L'mikra HaShaleim indicates 6 words in Mishpatim the same form, and warns about meticulous pronunciation because of a change in meaning if not done right. Here is one of them: t'shi-VEN-nu, you shall return it (to him), referring once to a blanket held as security for a loan to a poor person, and another time to a lost object. One must be careful to emphasize the DAGESH CHAZAK in the NUN - t'shi-VEN-nu (not as two distinct NUNs but rather as a lingering emphasis on the NUN - letting it belong to the VEN syllable as well as the NU syllable. To read it as t'shi-VE-nu, an unemphasized NUN, changes the meaning of the word. t'shi-VEN-nu (as in T'hilim 44:11) means "You return us". According to the Kaf HaCha- yim (remember that S'faradim do not distinguish between a SEGOL and a TZEIREI), says that if one reads the word in the Torah without stressing the NUN, he would have to repeat it.
