Torah Tidbits in the PALM of your hand - Technology serving Torah

Palm Point is an English to Hebrew (not the other way yet) dictionary that is being developed by Galtech Soft Ltd. (Calanit Hi-Tech Ltd. and Wizcom Technologies Ltd.). Its version 1 comes with the Palm Vx - Calanit, bought in Israel. It will work only with penticon's Hebrew support (v3.2). Check www.penticon.com for downloading, and www.calanit.com for buying it. Palm Point gives more than a one-word translation - you get a full Hebrew dictionary entry for an English word. English words can be entered into Palm Point that is "opened" on the Palm, or by tapping (for 2 seconds) an English word in a memo or other editable-text program (such as a text reader). For users of TealDoc, where the tap is used for scrolling, you can change the tap function in preferences to select, and then Palm Point will work well. Palm Point takes up about a meg & a half of memory. Give it a try.
