Parashat Truma

The bags of gold, silver, and copper refer to the generous contributions of the people to the building of the Mishkan. So too the olive oil, gem, wood, and variously colored threads (three kinds of wool, linen, and gold). The rings in the middle refer to the many rings mentioned in the sedra - for the carrying poles and to hold the wall-beams together. The column in lower right is for the columns mentioned. Sewing machine for the Mishkan's coverings (which were woven, but each panel was joined to its neighbor by sewing). Lower left are the three types of Menora designs, G'VIYA, KAFTOR, PERACH.
