TIYUL HOTLINE 500-3333 ext. 204

Strange as it may seem, some people have complained about being confused or frustrated by our "new and improved" telephone system. If this, press that; if that, press something else; Hebrew, English, Russian; and let's not forget Beethoven's WoO (work without opus number) #59 - Fuer Elise, which in the telephone version can get on your nerves if you are on hold for too long a period. With this in mind, we'll try to help you through the system for your tiyul-related calls.

Two options: As soon as your call to the Israel Center is answered, press 0. Do this if you'd like to speak human to human. This will get you to an operator/receptionist, or - if there is no one at the front desk, your call might be answered by anyone else who is in the Center when you call. If no one is in and/or no one is answering the phone, you will eventually hear the initial greeting again: Israel Center, Shalom. Press 204 immediately and after about 15 seconds of Fuer Elise you'll be asked to leave a message for Ita Rochel. Include your name, phone number(s), how late at night and how early in the morning we can call you back, and any other information that will help us deal with your call. Or, you can press 204 as soon as your call is answered and either talk to Ita Rochel or leave her a message. See how easy it is? And with some Beethoven thrown in as a bonus.
