Last Week's PPP

PPP sort of... from last week was an association:

Vega, ____ , ____ , this Shabbat.

Steinhart made the following connection.
Vega is a star (third brightest in our skies, not counting the Sun) in the constellation LYRE. LYRE sounds like LIRA, the currency that preceded our Shekel. And this Shabbat (last Shabbat, that is) was Sh'kalim.
I can't say no, but I had something "cuter" in mind.

Benji H. Went with Vega being a model of Chevrolet. Vega is a Chevy. Chevy not only rhymes with Levee, but the song American Pie (I think) linked the two. Vega, Chevy, levee. From there to its sound-alike LEVY which means to impose a tax which is what the Sh'kalim were. Cute.
I went with Vega being in Lyre and a lyre being on the back of the half-shekel coin in Israel.

A little more on the PPP sort of.
Someone else went with the LYRE-LIRA angle, but I don't remember whom.
